Entry Denied gets the "2012 Jury Honorable Mention Special Recognition" at Provincetown International Film Festival!!!

It has been a great honor to be among so many great films (The Invisible War, How to Survive the Plague, Any Day Now, and many others).  We had an amazing time, and had the opportunity to meet many other talented filmmakers and industry representatives. Actress Parker Posey received the Excellence in Acting Award, Director Kirby Dick received the Faith Hubley Career Achievement Award, and Director Roger Corman received the Filmmaker on the Edge Award. 

The film received a great audience reception and a had a good QA session following the film. The majority of people in the audience  had never heard of this issue before.

We are thrilled and honored to received this special recognition and we want to thank the Jury members, the Provincetown International Film Festival Director and Programmers for giving us the opportunity to screen in such great festival,  and we also would like to THANK  YOU, our Kickstarter supporters out there!!

We are pleased to announced the upcoming screenings of Entry Denied in two Film Festivals in June! - Tickets for the screenings are on sale now through the respective film festival websites:

PROVINCETOWN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL - June 13th & June 16th

SHORTS V: GAME CHANGERS

Wed., June 13, Waters Edge 1 @ 9:30pm

Sat., June 16, Waters Edge 2 @ noon

Certain decisions you make, while others may be made for you. Sometimes you know nothing will ever be the same again. (98 minutes) 

Entry Denied will screen will some other great narrative and documentary shorts in the same program including Picture Paris starting (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and Double or Nothing starting (Adam Brody). Check out the Festival website for more information about the SHORTS V: GAME CHANGERS program.

KANSAS GAY AND LESBIAN FILM FESTIVAL - June 23rd 

Entry Denied will screen June 23rd at 1:00pm as part of KKFI-FM 90.1 Day at the Festival, there will be a panel discussion at the end of the film, so if you are in Kansas City, MO. don't miss this great event.

Dear backers,

We are happy to announce that Entry Denied has been accepted to the Provincetown International Film Festival which takes place June 13-17 in Provincetown, MA.!

We are still in the final stages of post production, but we will have a final screening copy by the end of this month just in time for the festival.

They haven't announced the line up yet, so we don't have the details for which day Entry Denied will be shown. We'll keep you posted.
