Hey Guys! BSFF is making a comeback this year, but we need your help! The Festival is from Thursday, April 19 until Saturday, April 21.
The Broad Street Film Festival seeks to enhance the film community in the Chattanooga area by hosting an annual film festival, which will provide educational and networking opportunities to the next generation of collegiate filmmakers.
The festival is a night of showings at the Majestic downtown (Thursday, April 19), an awards ceremony at the Tivoli (Saturday the 21st), and an after party to follow. Each of the four schools involved, Covenant, Bryan College, Southern Day Adventist, and Chattanooga State are all contributing to this project.
In order to continue this event throughout the upcoming years, we are trying to raise enough to help give a start to next year's funding, which is why we are selling tickets as well as accepting donations.
Covenant College Film Club, through the Student Senate has generously given half of Covenant's required contribution, and now it is up to us to get the rest. We're asking for your help. Your dollar could help fund a DJ, seating at the Tivoli, or, most importantly, the ability to show student films.
