One day you may look back at this moment and quietly reflect. This was...wait, this is  the moment that you funded the new Max and the Moon album. You, with the help others have the ability to change our lives. Seriously. You do.

the STORY:

This January we decided to take the next big step as a band, we set out to write and record our new album. Not just any album though. We wanted to write songs that would challenge us as musicians and artists; songs that we could listen to a few years down the road and be proud of, and songs that will hopefully make you move. In order to complete the serious task at hand we called in the help of Artisans Label producer/mad scientist, Barrett Slagle*. 

*Note: Bringing Barrett on board is one of the best decision we have made as a band and yes that is a picture of Barrett above, he ponders quite frequently.

this is WHERE YOU AND KICKSTARTER COME IN:

WE NEED YOUR HELP! We have ran out of funding (for our self funded record). In order to finish our record and release it properly we need raise at least $1500. (To cover all expenses we need to raise $2,150). Check out the video above for further explanation.

We are using kickstarter because it is powered by a unique all-or-nothing funding method where projects must be fully-funded or no money changes hands. If we reach our goal every dollar that is donated will go straight to finishing and releasing the record.The best part is for every dollar you give, you will recieve something in return. We have everything from pre-release digital downloads of the album to a hand painted acoustic guitar! Every dollar will help change our lives and we mean that sincerely. All it takes is 2 minutes of your time and a couple of bucks to make a difference. HELP US KEEP OUR MUSIC ALIVE :)

    A specially painted acoustic guitar by our singer/piano player, Matt Couchois. A one-of-a-kind painting on an acoustic guitar! Matt loves doing this type of thing since he was an art major at Cal State Fullerton + everything else below. This one reward is limited to 2 because it's just so darn cool!! (wouldn't want to wear it out).
