Kickstarter

This project is to get 4 sets of 28mm Orcs into production.  These will be produced in a metal (lead free pewter alloy).

This project is geared towards three goals:

1.  Getting the 4 sets of Orcs that have already been sculpted into production.

2.  Increasing the speed with which I will be able to get future releases finished and into production.

3.  Giving you a significant discount off of the final price of the miniatures.  The final release price will be $15.99 per set of 4 Orcs.  This means that you will save 25% when supporting this project at the $12, $24, and $36 level all the way up to a discount of 30% at the $89 level.

Why am I asking for $700?

   That is a very good question!  Basically, I am looking to cover the cost of having masters made as well as the cost of having production molds created.  The estimated costs are as follows:

Masters for 16 28mm miniatures will be about $500

Two production molds will be about $200

So the total cost of moving these into production will be right around $700.  And that is why I am asking for $700.  As you can see, sculpting is already finished so there will be no further costs as far as that is concerned.

Stretch Goals

$1100 Pledged

If we reach this level I will have an Orc Chieftain sculpted.  Every backer who has pledged at the $45 level, and above, will get one for free.  He should be available around January of 2013.

$1400 Pledged

If the Kickstarter hits this level an Orc Necromancer will be sculpted.  Every backer who has pledged at the $45 level, and above, will get one for free. He should be available around January of 2013.

The necromancer will be free 

$2000 Pledged

At this level I will have a set of 4 Orc Archers sculpted.  2 will be completely new sculpts and 2 will be made from the dollies used to create the first four sets.

$2500 Pledged

At this pledge level a set of 4 Veterans (the guys wearing all the chainmail) with polearms will be sculpted.

$3000 Pledged

Once $3000 is reached I will have a set of 4 Orc Warriors with two-handed weapons sculpted.  The weapons will be a two-handed sword, two-handed battle axe, mattock, and a morningstar.

$4000 Pledged

At this level I will have a set of 4 Orc Veterans with crossbows sculpted.  These will be completely new sculpts.

$5000 Pledged

If the Kickstarter hits this level an Orc Shaman will be sculpted. Every backer who has pledged at the $45 level, and above, will get one for free. He should be available around January of 2013.

Add-Ons

So my project was a little boring and needed something to kick it up a notch (ie make more money)!  This is where add-ons come into play.  Add-ons are essentially non-related miniatures that I already have in production that will be offered to supporters, at the $45.00 level and higher, at discounts of 20%-30%.  See below for pictures and prices of each add-on.  To purchase add-ons all you need to do is increase your pledge by the appropriate amount.  When the project is completed I will send all supporters a survey where you will be able to let me know exactly which add-ons you want.

Examples are always good.  If you are located in the United States and want to pledge at the $45.00 level while adding in a Geryon miniature (add-on cost of $20.00) you would simply add the $20.00 to your pledge for a total pledge of $65.00.  If this isn't clear please send me a message and I will help you out!
