Super Ghosts ‘n … Ghosts?: The Movie Colon The Game! is a new videogame based on the hilarious documentary/comedy Super Ghosts ‘n … Ghosts? created by us, Joey and Danny Rodriguez.

The movie follows our mis-adventures as we drop what we’re doing and become some-what amateur ghost hunters. We’ve got no formal training and we don’t believe in ghosts. It’s not as good as you think. It’s better.

On the heels of the premiere of our movie, we’ve decided to take the plunge and enter the world of video games. We know, from experience, that games that tie-in with upcoming films generally suck ass, so we’re out to change that. Our game will satirize movie tie-in games as well as taking our movie to another wacky, extra-fantasical level.

The game is being completely handled by us and two of our friends under our new game studio: Odd Man Out Studios (www.oddmanoutstudios.net)

Story:
The story of Super Ghosts ‘n … Ghosts?: The Movie Colon The Game! loosely follows the plot of the film. After deciding to go ghost hunting with our mascot Prickley Pete, who is our third roommate, we discover that not only are ghosts real, but someone is killing off reality TV ghost hunters! We must battle our way through ghosts, zombies, werewolves and even vampires in our quest to find out the secrets of the Ghost Hunters and they’re diabolical plot. We throw seriousness out the window, get ready for tons of laughs and some unexpected twists!

Style:
The style of the game is based heavily on the classic SNES and Neo-Geo days of gaming, specifically Metal Slug, Contra, Super Castlevania, and even Final Fantasy. We need funds to pay our artist and music composer for their time and output. All programming is being handled in house by us, as well as any sound design, voice acting, etc. We also need funds for XBOX LIVE fees, as well as mechandise fees, disc pressing fees and a host other crap that we didn't realize we would have to get.

You won't go away empty handed though, as little as $5 can get you a free copy of the game on the system of your choice (PC or XBOX 360). Check out all the fantastic rewards on the right side of the screen.

As you can see we've set our goal very low, we obviously need more than the amount shown, but we understand that giving to some guys you've never met is a weird thing to do. Hopefully we will break that amount and get what we really need to finish.
