Let's start at the beginning...the WAY beginning...

My brother, Danny, and I, Joey, recently premiered a documentary/comedy called "Super Ghosts 'n ... Ghosts?" which was shot, edited, animated, mixed, etc. entirely by us. The cost? $2,681 exactly! That covered everything from cameras, to location fees, to the computer equipment and editing software to the upcoming creation of the DVDs. Talk about stretching that dollar, it was almost clear when we were done with it!

The movie follows our decision to take up ghost hunting on whim. We've got no formal training and we don't know what the heck we're doing. We travel across the Eastern US to 6 locations looking for a sliver of evidence. We absolutely do not believe in ghosts, so we're basically out to prove ourselves wrong, if we can.

Now, our plan is, because we think we've made a pretty hilarious movie, to turn the movie not only into a weekly webseries, where we can invite others on and involve the audience on another level rather than comments before or after a show, but an awesome video game that makes fun of other movie-tie in games and brings the action down on you like a ton of bricks.

Danny has recently graduated Full Sail in Orlando, FL with a degree in videogame programming and he is taking the lead on the creation of the game.

THE GAME: "Super Ghosts 'n ... Ghosts?: The Movie Colon The Game!

The game is going to be fashioned after classic 2D side-scrolling action games such as Metal Slug, Contra, Castlevania, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. Of course the game involves a lot more than capturing ghosts on camera. You play through seven intense levels as myself or my brother, or our ghost mascot, Prickley Pete. Using a deadly arsenal of machine guns and rocket launchers you must plow through ghosts, vampires, werewolves, robots, and mothmonstermen to take on the "Ghost Hunters" in the quest for television rating supremacy!

Features include:

- 7 Massive levels
- Over 30 different enemies
- 17 weapons from bats to crossbows to rocket launchers and everything in between
- Play as 6 different characters each with their own unique powers
- Earn experience and level up your character into a massive, beefy killing-type machine
- 2 Player Co-Op
- Achievements
- Intense, massive boss fights
- Classic 16-bit style with creative, hand painted backgrounds
- Hilarious story featuring plenty of cameos and sub-par voice acting
- AND MUCH MORE!

The game will cost $5 on XBOX Live Arcade and PC (and possibly iPhone) and would be ready to go by the end of this year/beginning of 2010.

The game is being handled by the independent game studio Odd Man Out Studios (www.oddmanoutstudios.net) which was created by Danny in order to properly distribute his past games.
