The Black Roses are a power pop quartet from the peoria area. We're working hard at making our dream of our first album come true.
Our band has been through its ups and its downs, but we finally feel as if we're ready to get serious and record its first album. We've been working very hard, playing lots of shows, connecting with our friends, family and our fans! We've made lots of new friends while playing over central and northern illinois.
What we're planning to do is to use this money to record at Nook Recording studio in Southwest Chicago. (https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Nook-Recording-Studio/268649321829). We'll be spending at least a 12 hour work day, recording, mixing, mastering and adding the final touches to our first album.
Then after that, we will produce the tracks onto CD's, so we can get them to you guys! Our Loyal friends! We hope that this CD will give us the boost to where we want to go, and beyond!
