I'm here to launch the Field & Crew: Heritage Watch. My inspiration to design this watch came out of frustration to find a watch to match my style on different days. I found it very difficult and costly to take my watch to a jeweler to change my watch band. I wanted a watch that I could customize myself and decided to do something about it!

The Heritage watch is the first and only watch to feature interchangeable watch bands via our smart pin system. We have engineered a watch pin so that you can easily remove the watch pin with your fingers. Simply interchange your Stainless Steel, Shark Mesh Steel, Rubber, Canvas or Leather stud watch band to fit your mood, style, or function without a jeweler or tooling necessary.

State of Project:
Currently, we have a fully functioning prototype watch. We have completed the design phase and tested functionality. We have selected and secured a leading manufacturer of wrist watches that has been in business for over 50 years for our components. Should we exceed our goal, mass production will not be a problem.
We are currently seeking funding through Kickstarter to begin full scale production of the Heritage watch. We will also use funds to acquire additional materials, extra watch components, hire help and design our website.
It will take about 50-60 days for production. Supporters can expect to receive their pledge gifts in April.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
This project is well past a napkin sketch. It has taken a very long time and many hours to get to this point. This project was launched after a year of designing and rigorously testing to ensure a high quality product that was functional. This project was launched after all testing was complete to limit risks and challenges that are present during designing and manufacturing.
While most would worry about being able to meet demand, the manufacturer we have sought out has been in business a very long time and has ensured us that he will not have a problem meeting demand should it exceed our expectations.
I have a few consultants that have agreed to help with this project should I encounter any difficulties along the way.
The journey has been long and now we need your pledges to bring the Heritage watch into production.
