RPG, I really don't understand why you can't grasp how important proper grammar and spelling is when you are trying to present yourself as a professional. This is not some weird idea I have that I'm badgering you about. Here are several articles on the topic:

Please look over these articles and maybe you will understand why good grammar is important for any professional, not just someone who is trying to write a book. You say that you have and will learn from your mistakes but you refuse to see this as a mistake. It is. It will prevent you from getting backers and having people take you seriously.
Do you remember the article in Forbes? They quite openly mocked your grammar. They didn't say, "Well, he's a programmer, not a writer, so communicating effectively isn't important." Grammar is important whether you like it or not.

lol yes i can say my grammar isn't the best i openly said that many times and whats my true colors ? and im not going to say i did something wrong when i didn't just because it make you feel better i never saw a law saying i couldn't use free stuff . If people cant see i'm a person just like them just because i'm pretending i'm me all the time i don't get on here and act any different then i would offline you 1000 miles away from me but you feel like you have the right to judge what i do on a daily bases. As for the reward tiers i said it like 7 times once people back a tier it can't be changed i didn't know that into it was to late . Most of the people problem is this black and white view they have on the world i understand people are different and just because i can't understand something don't make it right are wrong . You say the computer is a learning tool, rpg. im gonna help you learn why the Lore kickstarter failed. Read my list, take in its criticism, and improve on it.
1. Your grammar is awful. You need to improve. Type up your responses in microsoft word and spellcheck it before you post here. It will improve dramatically.
2. Your lack of grammar and the lack of caring about grammar really shows your true colors. It shows that you dont care about polish or presentation. The fact that you were too lazy to even run what you typed for your main kickstarter page and pledge rewards through a spellchecker just isnt good. Its not professional in the slightest. Will you care about the grammar in the dialog ingame? I really doubt you would based on what Ive seen from you.
3. Lack of content. You have pretty much nothing to show. You are trying to earn investors here. All you have right now are ideas, which is fine, but why should I invest in your ideas and not some other person's? You really need content. You said you would make a demo, then said posting here distracted you from making a demo, then you stopped posting here to make a demo...and we got no demo.
4. Blatant stealing. Cant trust someone who steals content and lies about it. You havent even apologized for it.
5. No financial planning whatsoever. How did you determine you needed $150k? How exactly will $150k pay for everything you need? Investors need this information.
I think those are the big issues.
I am not some nasty troll. I am not here to make fun of you. I desperately want a game like Lore to exist. You need to learn from your mistakes so that you can make this idea a reality.

i'm not doing it for money and i'm not making a fully marketable Dayz clone because its someone else's ideal . Do you have any knowledge of these programs ? i have done my research no body put full tutorials up of how too with unity. These videos want be a everyday thing only a once or twice a month thing . If you feel you can do better please do try i see and saw the reason's my kickstarter failed. Forget about the DayZ tutorial and focus on getting your solo project out there. Nobody will follow your tutorial until you can prove you can make a functioning game so put the DayZ tutorial aside, since its ultimately of relevance to nobody. (Also, for those interested in making a successful DayZ clone - well just do the exact opposite of WarZ.) Its the equivalent of you or I making a kickstarter, for a guide to making a successful kickstarter. Just sayin'

lol people asked i answered Bob nice try with the low blow but i know my weaknesses i told people from the start im not the world best typer . I'm not the type of person to spend all there time talking stuff about people i don't know i spend my time learn things. The computer is a learning tool but people some people seem to have forgot that. All that knowledge at the finger tips and people waste they time being butthole's . Make kickstarters and things about another person thing just to try and get notice. I honestly feel sad for people like that only monsters get joy from other peoples failures.
Jeremy Pischel yes i will in time i was going to put up my demo but i can't teach people and make a game. Meaning some people don't know what it takes to make a game i understand its not easy . I'm working on Lore and another smaller solo project to show people am not all talk after i get that almost done ill make a kickstarter of it. Maybe after that people will be willing to support Lore the way i want to do it.
I'll post the how to make the Dayz clone when i done making the things for it and ill give people the models and animations for free they only need unity the scripts as well.

im alive lol my project was not blocked are suspended i have been working on the game and doing other things. Learning the ends and outs of the new unity as i said im still going to make the game im just more focused on the learning. I learned alot from making this kickstarter and doing it the way i did i will not repeat the same mistakes the next time. But I have been here every single day since I discovered it a few weeks ago (during which time I read through the entire comments thead from the beginning), and you guys have given me so many laughs amid the frustration of seeing the creator repeatedly... well... do what he does in his responses - you don't need an explanation. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for everything that Lore has become. As the countdown transitions from counting the days to counting the hours that remain, I grow melancholy. So many people tried to help: Tim, Matt, Mike, Remi, Star, VoiceOfRaisins, Potatoandtaur, John, Bobs, Robert, Andrew, myself and many others; if only RPG had listened to us. Part of me thinks that if RPG listened and acted on all this advice then Lore could have been wonderful, but his ego means it will simply be consigned (again) to the graveyard of dead KickStarters; where awful projects go to die.
It's not all bad though, they say disasters bring people together and Lore is no different. Lore has helped me and others join the SomethingAwful forums. It's helped people connect across the world as friends on Facebook. It has amused and entertained so many people through its description and project updates, not to mention the comedy of the backers in this comments section. Indeed, Lore truly has been the gift that kept on giving and both Potatoandtaur (still banned) and I are sad that the ride is coming to an end. I am personally glad that we could amuse enough that /v/ and other sites were quoting/screencapping our comments (mainly Potatoandtaur's!) for others to see :) Finally, I just want to say thank you to the rest of you backers for the laughs and fun you've been, hopefully we'll meet back up whenever/wherever Lore gets crowdfunded in the future :D
