The ORCA Recording & Concert
Dear Friends,
The ORCA recording and concert this past weekend was a tremendous success! It was an extremely special night for me, being able to see the premiere of my first true classical symphony performed by a great orchestra with an amazing response.
From start to finish, it was an incredible experience and there are many people to thank: everyone who supported the Kickstarter campaign (including those I was able to meet in person), the great audience for their contagious energy (rivaling our rock shows!), the talented musicians in the Das Karussell Orchestra, especially conductor Werner Steinmetz and concert master Marcus Wall, Vincent Pedulla, Dan Monti and Erwin Khachikian.

The other other day when update came and I found the video on YT, I can't wait to play it.
My daughter (7yrs) was around and after few tones of the Act I she just turned to me and said: I recognize this - that's my favorite music - the "man in white suit" - that's how she call you since I was first time watching the Elect The Dead video with APO where you had that white suit. But amazing was that she knew that's your music even we heard just few seconds of the Act I - your music is so unique and so great !!!
BTW - week ago I went to your concert here in Prague - it was great, no doubts, but two years ago you was here also - playing the Elect The Dead with Prague Philharmonics - that was awesome - still had that amazing feeling from the live Symphony version back in my mind - please keep on going - I promise to support you in next project as well :-)

@Serj: I just realized there was no video tier in this KS to get a copy of the concert on film. Is that something you have in mind for later? Was the full concert recorded with HD cameras?

Boy am I sure glad to have helped with this as this post seems to find you thrilled with excitements and that's always great news for my ears and soul along everybody else's.
I couldn't help but gasp @ "rivaling our rock shows!". Needless to say, you got me all pumped and now thinking about how Jun 2013 is still far from now.
