The Story
The Cheerleaders Must Die is a horror-slasher film that follows our heroine Tammi and the legendary Armadillo High Cheer Squad on a retreat to Shady Pines Spirit Camp, where they fall under the gaze of a mysterious, blood-thirsty killer! As the bodies pile up and the blood spills our cheer squad is forced to bear witness to what happens when the pressures put on kids to live up to past high school glories are taken to their most gory conclusion.
"This film is a passion project for [Curtis Andersen and I]. We are determined to make a quality film worthy of the genre while having its own unique voice. As horror fans we know there are a list of things we need to deliver on; an isolated location, creative kills, an interesting villain, but we also want to deliver on real scares by ratcheting up the tension. Our approach toward doing that is making sure our killer's targets were characters the audience didn't want to see die and avoid the tired trope of obnoxious nubile teens awaiting a grisly demise. Where We're At
Most of the heavy lifting has already been done: we've assembled a great creative team, we have secured distribution from National Lampoon, and we have started to reach out to name talent - actors and actresses to help bring these characters to life. We are still finalizing production financing and while that's being worked on we need money to keep the ball rolling.
What We Need
To keep the film on track we need money for two things 1) a casting director and 2) a story board artist. To help secure our financing we have been asked to bring talent to the table with Letters of Intent. While we have this from actress Shirly Brener and Lochlyn Munroe we need to fill out the rest of the cast. A casting director will have the access and leverage to bring the best people to the table.
The story board artist will help our director lay out the shot plan so that we can make the most of our schedule. When this film is funded we will still be working on a shoe-string so every step we can take to save time and money is an advantage! We were able to afford story boards for one sequence, see below:

We will spend it! While we are specifically looking for money to fund our artist and casting director there are lots of other things that need to get paid for like legal costs, printing, permits, make-up tests, camera tests, etc. Every cent that comes out of this campaign will be used to get the film on screen.

NO! As we add the new rewards they will be provided to any one who has qualified for them at the different price points. For example, if you donanted for a "Special Thanks" credit on day 1 then you will receive all the current rewards owed including the personalized "thank you" note added later that first week and the signed photo of Curtis that was added on 8/8/11. So for early givers they will see their rewards get larger as they go!

Curtis Andersen has been working as a professional in the entertainment industry for over twenty-five years. As an actor, Curtis has been seen on both the big and small screens. While best known for his role as Gordy on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Curtis has also guest starred on such hit shows as 7th Heaven, That 70’s Show, 3rd Rock from the Sun and Veronica Mars as well as roles in the films Pearl Harbor, Envy and The Rules of Attraction, among others.
After learning the ropes in front of the camera, Curtis has now turned his attentions to the role of producer. Forming Wiggy VonSchtick Productions in 2005, the company’s first feature, the award winning Stupid Teenagers Must Die!, was successfully distributed both domestically and internationally.
