Roanna, thank you for your insightful comments and support. While the name is a direct reference to the Agricultural Green Revolution which led to the development of chemical fertilizers, the social justice and food movements do have a lot in common. We believe that communities and individuals can empower themselves by growing their own food. With the right tools and training, anyone can be a farmer!

I love the idea of the project, but "Black Revolution" is a pretty polarizing name for something made for plants (sounds like it's referring to civil rights).
