Well, we're back. Did you miss us? Thanks to all of you that have stayed with me through this journey and welcome to those that are just now joining us. The Backer Rewards have been streamlined and more things have been added. Please take a look and share with friends and family.

The Project:
The Symbolist Tarot deck is a curated deck comprised of masterpieces from the Symbolism Art movement. My main goal was to build a cohesive and readable deck filled with stunning artwork. This project was unknowingly researched over many years as my collection of the artwork from this era grew. It finally clicked that these images can and will create a truly stunning deck. The Symbolism Art Movement is far and away my favorite fine art movement and my hope is that this deck will create some new converts to these artists and their works. With its dreamlike, fantasy, mythical and sometimes macabre imagery, Symbolist Art lends itself perfectly to the Tarot.
Any and all help is amazing and appreciated; I hope that together we can make this project a reality. I will need to reach my goal of $6,500 in order to publish this deck. I need your help funding and sharing this project. Hopefully, we both can make this a reality and come away proudly with a truly beautiful deck.

About The Art:
The Symbolism movement was a late 19th Century Art movement that flourished across the UK, Western Europe and as far East as Russia. It influenced many different types of media including Poetry, Theater, Prose Fiction and most importantly, at least to this project, Painting & Illustration.

Product Quality and Design:
Each card will be 2.75" x 4.75" (70mm x120mm) in dimension; the traditional Tarot standard.
Every card will be printed on the best 305 GSM "black core" playing card stock with a UV overcoat. This is by the far the best quality available.
Every deck will come packaged in a beautiful full color "tuck" box.
This Deck will be created with the Highest Existing Industry Standards.

How The $6,500 Will Be Utilized?
Funds received will be used to pay for initial print run of the tarot cards and tuck boxes.
Funds will be used to receive a licensing agreement for the very few pieces that are not public domain and copyright free. We believe that all artists and their estates are entitled to compensation.
Also, if funding exceeds expectations ALL orders will be shipped with some exciting extras. These will be announced only after funding has exceeded expectations.
