About this project

API Worldwide: South America is the sixth book for Apocalypse Prevention, Inc, the third regional sourcebook of the gameline as a whole. This book takes a deeper look at the power struggle occurring within API's South American HQ and introduces 4 new demon races, a slew of new gear (including heavy weapons), money magic and plenty of mysteries to unlock. 

Apocalypse Prevention, Inc. is an Action Horror RPG with a Twist of Humor, released in 2008. Players take the role of agents that work for the global corporation, working to defend the world from demonic and extra-dimensional threats, with tons of player choices to pick from! The game takes much of its influence from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Men in Black and even a little Hellboy thrown in for good measure. API Worldwide: South America adds to the already impressive catalog of playable demon races, awesome equipment and even introduces brand new tattoo magic into the game! Not only that, but it also brings fans up to speed concerning Nisa Amando, the Circle of Ten rep for South America, and her strategy to keep the entire region from crumbling. 

We are looking to raise $1000 to help with printing costs and art commissions for the project. In addition to PDF and print copies available for API Worldwide: South America, we have made the entire gameline available through this Kickstarter! So, you could get just the one book or even all six, just as easily. 

You may add $10 to any pledge to receive a API t-shirt in your choice of White, Black or Red (up to size XXXL). If you take this option, please send a message to Eloy to confirm your choice of t-shirt(s).

$3000 Stretch Goal

If we hit $3000, all Backers will receive a copy of the API Anthology: Volume 1 (9 short stories set in the world of Apocalypse Prevention, Inc.), the existing Demon Packs (01 and 02) and will receive Demon Pack 03 well before anyone else can buy it. 

$5000 Stretch Goal

If we hit $5000, all Backers will receive PDFs from the upcoming series of expansions for 2012, called API Alternate Ages. In this series, we'll be exploring the company and the world through various periods of history, including the Wild West and the Dark Ages. We'll be releasing one per quarter (for a total of 4 in 2012) and everyone that helps back this project to $5000 gets them for free!
