A feature film shot in Havana, Cuba written and directed by New York based filmmaker Robert Pietri
Dear Friends, family, and fans
We are a husband and wife filmmaking team based in Brooklyn, New York, We are in the final stages of completing Semper Fidel, a feature film we shot in Havana, Cuba.
Semper Fidel was produced on a shoe-string budget, a truly independent venture realized through plenty of good will and an amazing cast and crew. With this Kickstarter Campaign, we hope to continue in that spirit and raise a minimum of $7,500 to help us finish the movie. We’re covering costs with credit cards at the moment, and facing considerable post-production expenses, including color correction, sound mixing, to get the film ready for exhibition. In addition to this, we are looking at costly marketing expenses including printing promotional materials, finishing our website, etc., as well as film festival submissions and expenses.
Please watch the video above, visit our facebook page, and if it feels right, contribute to the film through the incentive levels we have provided. The minimum donation is just ten dollars, and every donation counts. We really need your support to finish this film.
Many thanks, in advance.
Sincerely,
Robert and Tara Pietri

CAN WE EXCEED THE GOAL?
Yes! Exceeding the goal would help us pay for more of the costs to finish the film. We've been conservative in our goal and really need close to $15,000 to finish this film so please do help us smash the goal to ensure that we can meet all the anticipated post-production costs.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE MONEY ISN'T RAISED IN TIME?
If our goal isn’t met before the deadline, we don't receive any of the pledges. Your credit or debit card will not be charged.
