About this project
Director Rose McCutchan and The Young Actors Co-op are producing their largest performance to date, presenting The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in the Winter Sun Music Hall & DogTown Roadhouse on December 11th, 12th & 13th. Numbering 34 cast & crew, this is the largest show yet, over triple the enrollment from the group's first performance 5 years ago. The production will include singing, dancing, live musicians, handmade costumes, and set pieces including a giant, audience sized river, a floating raft, and a Mississippi river dock. The parents have all dedicated their time and energy to help Rose put on a terrific show, but there is still more to do.
Your donation will help pay for the sets, the costumes, the props, and the theater rental - in all, expenses totaling approximately $4,000. Much of the show is paid for through the collection of dues. However, today it is harder than ever for many families to pay for their child to participate.

Hi, we're Haden & Rose. We just got married in September of 2010 and instead of having kids, we started a business! We own Red Rooster Coffee Roaster with our lifelong friends, Benjie & Becky. Haden roasts really great coffee that's also fair trade and organic and Rose brews the coffee in her coffee shop, the BlackWater Loft. We also care about things like education and the environment and we try to do the right thing as much as possible.
