On June 15, 2012, our Ford F350 truck will be pulling out of the driveway with a 39' rolling billboard tour logo designed fifth wheel trailer as we start our expedition to Los Angeles, California.
From the moment we leave our documentary film crew will be filming our journey of The 2012 Gratitude Tour. The tour will not only spread gratitude, but inspiration as Jennifer Westby tells her story of her mom's unexpected death, how she coped with grief and how a simple word, saved her life. Jennifer will be sharing real life stories from people who have started foundations, businesses or services in honor of a loved one. The films purpose is to demonstrate how to grieve with love and a purpose and to show a brighter side of grief, and give people inspiration in their own situations. Jennifer's story and inspiring message and energy (Jenergy), she has already had an impact on peoples lives and wants to introduce it to the masses.
The tour stops include Portland, OR, Medford, OR, Sacramento, CA and Los Angeles, CA where Jennifer will be stopping to sign her book and have people sign the "One-of-a-Kind" Traveling Gratitude Wall. Jennifer will also be interviewed by the media along her way.
Jennifer also plans to spread her mom's ashes at the childhood home of her mom, Roberta in Los Angeles, and in McMinnville, Oregon. Her moms wishes to travel were cut short, but Jennifer mission will include laying her mom to rest.
With your help, The purpose of The 2012 Gratitude Tour's mission will be filled out and completed. Jennifer wants to create a movement, and with your help, we can move as one.
We will be using the funds to pay for filming, editng, and interviews. We have travel expenses, and we're doing some pretty great gratitude acts to a couple of families that could use a surprise. We will also be doing acts of kindness, big ones, as we travel, in honor of my mom.
