Hello Everyone,

We know that it's been a while since we last posted, so we wanted to give you a quick update on the current state of the film and the rewards.

                                                                                  Festivals

Rejection is always heart tearing and sometimes infuriating, but it is also apart of the long process of finding an audience.  Film Festival selection is incredibly subjective and no matter how great a film you believe you've made, for whatever reason some people will not feel the same way.  BUT I do know there are plenty more and I believe the film will find a place that loves it just as much as we do.  With all that said, festival rejections can sometimes be eye opening and in the passed few months we've made some subtle changes to the film that we feel make it better, including:

• New Voice Overs

• New End Music

• A Few New Edits

Also, thanks to many of the donations we've received by screening the original cut of the film privately online and via Paypal, we've been able to Master the sound and Color Correct the film. The only thing we still want to do is make a film print, which we are waiting to do once the film gets accepted into a fest.

Now, I know many of you want to see and hear these new changes and you will on the DVD.

                                            DVDs, Film Frames, and Story Boards

Unfortunately, because of festival rules, we still cannot distribute DVDs to the public until after the film has played at a festival, otherwise it will be disqualified.

Also, for those that donated to get the film frames and storyboards, we cannot cut the frames off just yet because we need the original film footage to make the print. Once we are able to, the storyboards will go along with the frames.

I apologize for the delay of these last few rewards. Please trust me when I say that I am extraordinary eager to get you these rewards as fast as possible.

Today is a special today in the Ole US of A.  A day about saying thanks and remembering what your grateful for.

Hello folks!

The great news is that the film is complete and we believe it's going to knock your socks off!!!

The other good news is that for those that donated over $75, the Shankle T-shirts have been ordered and should be shipped out and at your doorsteps in the next several weeks.

Now, unfortunately for some bad news.  After several weeks of inquiry, we recently found out that we are not allowed to distribute the film in any public form (this includes DVD, but is not limited to private screenings online) until after our festival showings because it would disqualify us from showing from 7, very prestigious, festivals which we have chosen to submit to.  What this means is that we will not be able to send out the DVDs, the negative film clips, and storyboards until after the festivals are over, which will delay us from delivering those rewards until February, BUT we are allowed to show the film, "privately online" which we will be doing on Vimeo via a secret pass code to those whom would be getting a DVD.  We will be emailing this pass code to everyone in the next couple of days.

Also, for those whom have donated to receive the, "1 hour skype session with Donny and Glenn" Reward.  We apologize for the delay, but unfortunately Mr. Pendlay had a family emergency this month, but you're names and email addresses have been sent to him and he will be contacting you sometime in November to set up a time.  

Lastly, for some more good news.  The film has already been sent out  to 3 film festivals as of October 15th, 2012 (Slamdance Film Festival, Ann Arbor International Film Festival, and Cleveland International Film Festival) and we will be submitting to at least 5 more in the next 2 weeks.  All of your names have been credited (pictures below) and will be up on imdb.com as soon as we hear back from our first festival.

We apologize for the inconvenience of the rewards that have been delayed, but we hope you are as excited to see the film as we are to show it!!!
