Today's the day!
Thanks to our generous donors and everyone who has supported us along the way, the cast & crew leave for Scotland tonight! The last few weeks have been a blurry flurry of rehearsal, set, props, wardrobe, logistics, etc. On Friday night we had an outdoor preview performance for friends and family and were met with great enthusiasm. If anyone cares to come visit us in Edinburgh, we have an extra room, and show tickets are on us! We'll keep you posted from the Fringe...

Actors arrive in a week...
We are gearing up for rehearsals to begin a week from today! Actors arrive next Tuesday, and we will have our first table read that day. Our Stage manager and dramaturg has made cuts to the script that will enable us to run what was a 97 minute show in 65 minutes, so to fit into the Fringe schedule. The Festival is huge, many venues, and each venue has many shows. We are at Assembly George Square One, a 275 seat theatre in the heart of the Fringe. We will have 10 minutes to set the stage and 10 minutes to strike the set. Very short windows! We perform from August 1st through August 27th, one show a day at 11:45 am, with one day off (Whew!)

We are almost at $20,000, with our goal being $29,000. That will pay our travel and accomodations. Total cost for taking the show to the Festival will be around $70,000.
