About this project

Dear friends, 

Deleyaman would like to perform 10 live audio-visual concerts on the West Coast. To be able to organize the concerts, we are running a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter to raise a part of the needed funds. We are also investing in this project ourselves. 

To make our West Coast Tour project happen, we need your support in the form of pledges. But, we are not asking something for nothing. We are offering many special gifts equal in value to each pledge made. So we urge you to take the time to find out all the details, to sign up to make your pledges, to confirm your gifts and to become our "backers".

The project description & more details :

Deleyaman has been together for over ten years now. We've recorded and released five albums, have played numerous live shows and we're currently recording our upcoming album due out in 2012.

The music has been and continues to be our main inspiration. 

During these constantly shifting times for independent bands, we carry on while looking for new ways to connect with our audience and new listeners. Our intent is to bring the band, friends & fans directly together. Seems, we've come full circle and back to being (modern day) minstrels.

But it takes effort for an independent band such as ours to continue existing while staying true to our original creative vision. It takes stubborn determination and crazy will to keep releasing physical albums and to keep looking for eclectic venues willing to book an unclassifiable band like Deleyaman for concerts. And to put a concert tour together without a big time tour manager is probably the most difficult task of all. Which is why we've decided to bring our tour project idea here to Kickstarter. 

All though we are investing money in this tour as well, we need your support to be able to raise the essential part of the funds. We'd like you to join us and participate in putting together our project. 

Our goal is to perform at least ten live shows in small venues this coming spring . As our backers, we'd like for you to become the co-producers of this tour. 

All the funds raised here will go towards paying : 

• the theater/venue rental fees 
  
• the travel & lodging expenses
• the promotion of each show
• the gear rental 
• and the sound engineer for all our shows. 
  

So, whether you are friends, family or fans and no matter where you are on the planet, your support and your contributions are absolutely vital no matter how much your pledge.

And we'd like you to know that we are not asking something for nothing. We are not in favor of hand-outs, we'd like to give something of value back to you.
