About this project
Ficly is a labor of love, built to "rescue" a community abandoned by a gigantic internet company. Jason and Kevin, the two original developers, jumped in, and in their less-than-copious spare time, and with a lot of help, built a replacement.
Ficly doesn't make money. We don't serve ads, and have paid for the server and hosting so far out of our own pockets - which doesn't really bother us, but we want to see how much Ficly means to the community, so we're asking for your help. Will you help us pay our very reasonable hosting bill for the year? If we can raise 800 dollars, we can pay our awesome hosting company for the year, and go back to building cool features and writing without worrying about the bill every month.
Anything we make over $800 will go towards paying for the rewards, and then buying any additional hardware or services we need to make the site go (like paying our Amazon Web Services bill).
