Geek A Week: Season 4 Launched!

Update #13 · Oct 1, 2012 · comment

Hello backers of Geek A Week 2.0!

I just wanted to give you a heads up that I just launched the Kickstarter for the FOURTH season of my Geek A Week project!  It's a new 8 card set featuring geek faves such as Ernie Cline, author of Ready, Player One, Jenny Lawson AKA The Bloggess, Parry Gripp, Jen Yates AKA Cakewrecks and others! Plus for the first time ever, I'm working on creating a fan set of Geek A Week.  There are reward levels that allow you to become an official geek in the base card set and   also a chance to be added to the Geek Pantheon at geekaweek.net. Check it out!

Head on over, check out the project and if you like it, pre-order your set today! Or choose to be an Official Geek A Week.  It's up to you!

Thanks for looking and please help me spread the word!

Geek A Week 2.0 and new Season one sets available at Thinkgeek!

Update #11 · Nov 27, 2011 · 2 comments

Just a little heads up that if you wanted to get additional sets of Geek A Week 2.0 (like, say, one unopened pack) or complete your Season 1 sets, they are now available at ThinkGeek:

http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/collectibles/e752/?srp=1

ThinkGeek has both the season 2 set (with Timmy The Monkey) and two new 18 card sets (with bonus geeks Jamie Hyneman and Freddie Wong) that allows you to complete the original 52 card deck. Unfortunately, it looks as though they are sold out of Set 1 Cards 1-8.  However, I have a few of those available if you are a completist and would like to have the whole set.  You can e-mail me at monsterbymail at gmail for those details.

Now, go forth and collect!
