About this project
We have chosen to produce a music video of this beautiful title (The World Will Follow) because of its strong and moving tone that reaches one’s soul and keeps echoing throughout, even long after the song ends. We firmly believe that a song that possesses such grandeur in its core deserves an equally grandeur into its visual representation.
The artist we are working for is Andi Starr, who writes and performs her own songs. As Culturespill Magazine states: “Andi Starr hits the right notes: the notes that hurt, the notes that know you, the notes that make you meet yourself.”
More information about Andi Starr can be found on her website: http://www.andistarr.com/

LYRICS:
Calling all artists, travelers of soul,
you who are living on Top Ramen, crackers, and toast,
remember it’s you we depend on the most.
Do what you love, and the world will follow.
Do what you love, and the world will follow.
Do what you love, and the world will follow.
Do what you love, and the world will follow.
Calling all dreamers, wandering with hope,
continue your work daily, without reproach,
and don’t worry, remember:
It’s you we depend on the most
Do what you love, and the world will follow.
Do what you love, and the world will follow.
All these loves and all these faces;
you take me down to your beautiful places.
Do what you love and the world will follow.
Calling all people, hear what Rumi says:
“Out beyond our ideas of right and wrong, there is a field;
I will meet you there.”
I’ll meet you there.
I’ll meet you there.
I'll meet you there.
Do what you love, and the world will follow.
Do what you love, and the world will follow.
I will meet you, I will meet you there.
I will meet you, I will meet you there.
I will meet you, I will meet you there,
in the beautiful places.
CONCEPT:
As the lyrics suggest, the song is an allegoric statement, which underlines that as long as you do whatever you are passionate about with love, you will always find followers to ride alongside.
The song is addressed to all people filled with dreams and hopes, and again, the song calls out to whoever feel is part of the “Dreamers-wandering-with-hope” community to keep performing their labor of love because, only then, the world will follow.
In this regard, the music video will support the genuineness and the emotion of the song, and by the same token, will establish the visuals as a complementary device to reinforce the message behind it.
All in all, to successfully carry out this task, the music video will include lots of dramatic performance footage of Andi Starr on three different locations (two outdoor and one indoor), which we deem righteous enough to bring out Andi’s grace and sensibility.
A multi-layered, mystery narrative will be combined to the performance elements in order to, besides helping make the point of the song, heighten a sense of universality in it.
Indeed, each layer composing the overall narrative will feature grown-up individuals (both male and female) from different horizons (African American, Caucasian, Hispanic, etc.). The idea is to show how they are all alike when it comes to doing something they hold dear, passionately. In addition to that, we will get a quick overview on their search for beauty into their respective labor.
At the end of the music, their efforts will all come together (in an unexpected puzzle-like context) to make up the message of the song, that is: Do What You Love and the World Will Follow.
There is a pretty good chance that the performance portion of the music video will be slightly outweighed by the B-ROLL visuals (mainly due to its multi-track structure). However, we will use compelling imagery of Andi Starr singing and playing guitar in order to make every second of her screen time count double. Moreover, her segment will be intertwined with the narrative as often as possible to create a rhythmic regularity in her screen appearance. The extent of which will result in her presence being noted as of that of the unspoken narrator for the B-ROLL.
In conclusion, “The World Will Follow” is set to be a creative and pleasant music experience bound to push Andi Starr into the wider recognition she deserves. The music video itself, handled with thorough care, has immense potential. It can turn out a monster hit with engaging and dramatic moments up its sleeve, while conserving entertainment value for all demographics.
Whether you are a fan of Andi Starr or not, you will acknowledge “The World Will Follow” as a Must-see!
