I've been working hard for the past 6 months writing songs and preparing for my next recording!!
Hey Y'all thanks for stopping by my Kickstarter page! I've been hard at work writing new songs and finding the right people to start this project with and what better way than to share it with you all. I've never done anything like this before but I think it's a great way to have friends and fans involved with the making of my music.
I'm currently in pre-production working on the new CD and have so many cool things planed for 2012!
Like a new music video, new single and a radio tour.

Why I'm Doing This
There are so many costs that go into recording an album. In fact, a lot of major labels spend tens of thousands of dollars, if not more, on their artists' CD's. Here are some of the costs that your money will help cover: -Production -Recording engineer -Studio space -Musicians -Mixing -Mastering -Album artwork -CD replication, Packaging, Shipping, Art work and A Music video!!
How does this Kickstarter thing work?
Over to the right side of this page, you can see a list of different prizes, for different amounts of pledges. Once you decide on which pledge amount you would like to give, you click on the green button in the upper right-hand corner that says, "Back this Project," and it will walk you through the steps.
My GOAL to reach, in addition to what I have saved, is going to be $10,000. I can't wait to get my new music out for all of you and you should know that this is an ALL or NOTHING fundraiser. So, if I'm just one dollar short of $10,000 on the deadline, then your pledge doesn't go through and you get all your money back, and I don't get to finish my project.. AND you won't get any of the fabulous rewards I've come up with for you.
Although the final amount can't be under the goal amount by the deadline, it can go over. So, all the extra money will still go into the CD and help pay for the many other costs that are associated with the making of this CD. Please pass this along to anyone you feel might be interested in donating to the making of the Sheila Marshall CD!!
