Hi there.  Ben, Devin, and Nand here.

Thank you so much for checking out our first Kickstarter project!  We believe the iClip™ is an innovative product that will find a number of uses in your everyday life.  We truly appreciate your interest and support.

While driving one day, the idea came to Nand for a simple, inexpensive product that would allow someone to clip their iPhone to the visor of their car. After doing some research, he came to find that no one had yet made a product that met his criteria.

When Nand approached Ben and Devin with his vision, they immediately saw the potential for much more.

The team has been diligently working on the design and detailing of the iClip™ for several months at this point, and has produced dozens of rapid prototypes to flesh out the iClip's™ simple yet versatile design.  Two months ago a limited run of 1500 iClips™ was produced from a temporary mold.

So far, everyone who has had the chance to test an iClip™ has said the same thing: "Where can I get one of these?"

Early on in the process it became apparent that we were onto something with true potential, a product that they had never seen before.  Naturally we wanted to protect it, and have recently filed applications for both utility and design patents.

At this point, all of the front work is done, but the team can't finish the race without your help. With the funds raised through Kickstarter, we can purchase permanent molds to begin production and international distribution.

What exactly does the iClip™ do?

Well, obviously, the iClip™ clips.  

The integrated clip allows you to attach your iPhone to a variety of objects that are less than 5/8" (16mm) thick.  The driving force behind its design was for use on you cars sun visor to make hands-free calls.

And the iClip™ stands.

The patent pending arm design allows the iClip™ to hold your phone vertically and horizontally in a standing position without using any moving parts.

The iClip™ also reclines. 

The patent pending design allows the iClip™ to hold your phone vertically and horizontally in a reclined position.

The iClip™ even helps to keep your headphones tidy.

The clips arm features an integrated wire catch which allows your headphones to be neatly stowed.

In how many colors is the iClip™ available?

The iClip™ will be available in five colors during it's Kickstarter campaign. We think they're pretty sweet.

Where can the iClip™ be used?

In our time with the iClip we've found a multitude of uses for it, here are some of our favorites.

• In the car; for hands-free calling.
• On a plane; the two horizontal reclining positions are perfect for watching downloaded content or reading your favorite E Book.
• At home; the vertical standing position is great for facetime.
• In the office; the vertical standing position keeps your phone in plain sight so you catch all of your important updates.
• At home; as an alarm clock stand and charging station.

Where will the iClip™ be produced?

From the very beginning of this project, manufacturing and packaging the iClip™ in the USA has been a top priority.  The team is very proud to say that this product was designed and will be manufactured in Southern California.

Does the iClip™ support any other devices?

This model will only hold an iPhone 4/4S.  However, after this project is successfully funded, we have plans to produce iClips™ for many other devices.  We have already designed and prototyped  iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod Touch models of the iClip.  We have plans in the future to expand our line to support the iPhone 5, iPod Touch 2, the iPad, the Samsung Galaxy S2 and S3, and several HTC smartphones.

How will the iClip™ ship?

Please be sure to add the shipping costs below when making your pledge.  All iClip™ orders will ship via USPS priority mail within the US and First-Class Mail International Parcel when shipping internationally.

• 5-28 iClips™ will ship anywhere in the US for $12 and internationally for $16.
