Update #11: Support us at the Big Pitch- March 16th
Although Liamolly has made progress since purchasing our knitting machine, we still have a few more pieces of expensive equipment to buy before our knitting mill is complete!
You can help us by attending the 1st annual Big Idea event, which marks the culmination of New Orleans Entrepreneur Week 2012. This event will feature 19 of New Orleans' most promising startup ventures and a celebrity judging panel.
We need all the love and support we can get! Each member of the crowd at the event, will be given a chip valued at $50. Each person that attends will decide which business to give their chip to. The businesses will be able to keep the money they collect, but the top three chip-getters will move onto a second round where they can pitch their ideas to a panel of judges that will award one business $50,000in seed funding.
This would help us purchase the remaining equipment we need to complete our knitting mill, grow our business in New Orleans, and support our local economy and bring our manufacturing back to the USA!

I've been a knitter since I was 9. I was lucky to find what I love to do at such a young age. I moved on to a knitting machine at 12 then to Parsons and studied fashion design, and became a knitwear designer. For over 20 years, I've designed for many well known fashion companies, perfecting my skills...always a mix of the entrepreneur & artist...I'm still knit obsessed.
