About this project
Hello everyone. We're Failures' Union from Buffalo, NY. In 2007 we wrote and recorded our first full length record. We named it "Sinker." One Percent Press released the album as a CD. We always wanted to put it out as an LP as well, but since we were never a full-time band and lacked the funding, the timing never seemed right.
Over the past year things have changed, and the band has become a priority for the members. Paper & Plastick released our new album "In What Way." We also have been touring a lot more, and are even going to be heading to the United Kingdom for two weeks in the spring to play. Now we want to put "Sinker" out on vinyl more than ever, but we need your help.
We are going to be pressing the LP at Pirates Press to ensure a quality product, and the project will cost a little over $2500. We are hoping to raise $2000 for the project with your generous help, and we will pay for the rest out of our pocket.
The money you donate will not go unrewarded: in return you will get a bunch of neat stuff. If you can only donate a little, it will basically be like you're pre-ordering the LP. The more you donate, the crazier the return. You can have Tony write and record a song especially for you. If you're a big spender we'll even re-record the vocals to the album and send you a special, one-of-a-kind version of "Sinker" where all of the lyrical content is about you.
We have everything ready to be sent to the pressing plant; all we need is your contribution. Please help us out, and make us very happy people.

We will send you a copy of the LP, as well as the LP version of our new album IN WHAT WAY and the CD of our first EP YOU KNOW WHO. We will also send you the digital version of the record with bonus tracks.
Pledge $50 or more
We will send you the SINKER LP, as well as a custom printed one color shirt of your design. That's right we are screen printers over here in the Failures' Union camp and we will print any shirt that you send us a design for. Think of the endless possibilities. Of course the digital version of the album will also be included.
Pledge $75 or more
This is a limited one. The first five people to pledge $75 will receive a test press of SINKER. You will also receive a regular version of the album and the digital download.
Pledge $100 or more
Things are starting to get ridiculous. If you pledge $100, Tony will write and record a song specially for you. The song can be about you, or any topic that you choose (well as long as it's not too offensive). If you don't want him to write a song for you, you could also choose to have him cover a song of your choice. Also included are the SINKER LP and digital download.
Pledge $250 or more
Did you know Tony wrote a book? Don't worry neither do most people because it was never published. If you pledge $250, you will get a signed, bound version of Tony's novel, the SINKER LP, and the digital download.
Pledge $500 or more
If you donate $500, We will come to your house and play an acoustic show for you and your friends. This is limited to people who live within a seven hour drive of Buffalo. Of course you'll get a SINKER LP and the digital download as well.
Pledge $1,000 or more
For those who dare to dream, and have a ridiculous surplus of money, Tony will rewrite and record all of the vocals to SINKER and make them about you. We'll send you a CD version of the album with the new vocals, and you will have a one of a kind thing. We'll still send you the LP version, but I mean when would you ever need to listen to that when you have this new masterpiece?
