A 'Manos' pin, plus your name on the 'Thanks' section of the website!
Pledge $25 or more Pledge $25 or more
Above incentives, plus "Manos Restoration Team" T-shirt, not to be sold outside of this fundraiser. 'Special Thanks' in Restoration Credits.
Pledge $50 or more Pledge $50 or more
'Donor' status in restoration credits, plus your choice of a special Blu ray / DVD / Digital Download of the completed restoration.
Pledge $100 or more Pledge $100 or more
Above, plus a silkscreened 'Manos' poster. 'Sponsor' status in Credits.
Pledge $500 or more Pledge $500 or more
Above, plus invitation for two to the first screening of the restored 'Manos' as a guest of honor (travel and lodging not included). 'Producer' status in Credits, and a unique, limited reward: the first five to donate will receive all previous incentives plus a complete 16mm print of another, non-Manos feature from my collection! Projector not included.
Pledge $500 or more Pledge $500 or more
The same as above, but instead of a 16mm print you will receive a photo book with 2k scans from the film.
Pledge $1,000 or more Pledge $1,000 or more
'Executive Producer' status in Credits. Above, plus your poster will be autographed by Jackey Neyman Jones, one of the original surviving cast members of 'Manos: The Hands of Fate'.
Pledge $2,000 or more Pledge $2,000 or more
Above, plus a role in the Producer's Track - a supplemental audio option on the Blu ray and DVD where YOU voice one of the characters in 'Manos: The Hands of Fate'. If you are not located in Los Angeles, CA, you must have access to a microphone and a recording device to participate in the Producer's Track!
Pledge $5,000 or more Pledge $5,000 or more
'MASTER' status in the credits. A very special role in a very special movie, well deserving of a spot in the 'Master's Reel', where your image will be digitally inserted into a scene. This will appear as an easter egg on the DVD / Blu Ray and on Youtube and NOT in the film itself. You must have the ability to send a photograph or video of yourself if you are not located near Los Angeles, CA. In addition to the above, the first person to claim MASTER status will receive a genuine piece of the crumbled original 'Manos' set (donated very generously by Tony Trombo). Place it on the shelf next to your chunk of the Berlin Wall.

(Just learned that they are -not- using this version :/ ... rather a slightly better than VHS transfer version.)
Rifftrax to tackle Manos in a live show August 16

Wish I could have afforded more (will have to borrow the DVD when it comes out from someone!) but I'm glad I could help a bit.
You should try to get Hotel Torgo added to the disc as a special feature.
And you have now passed $40,000. Congratulations, and let's keep this going! :D
Hi, Ben & Co.! Just wanted to say how glad I am at the success of the project so far. You blew your goal completely out of the water, along with myself we have 600+ Backers and quite frankly, it looks AMAZING. Can't wait!
I had a question about the eventual release, particularly the Bluray. Any chance we'll see/hear a new Rifftrax or Cinematic Titanic on the disc as Bonus Features? Or maybe the full version side-by-side comparison of the original DVD vs the restored version? Any of those would be a welcome treat. Thank you for making this a reality! Take care!
One massive final push is needed, folks. A level of restoration and a Blu-Ray will be possible... but a film-out to 35mm alone could cost as much as has been raised! Keep film alive! Go! Go! Go!
This NEEDS to happen. For serious.
So proud to say I backed this for the $25 I could spare. I love this movie because of MST3K no matter how bad it was lol
I vote that whatever money is left over after funding the bonus features be put towards extra copies of the DVD/Blu-Ray to be given away for free. I'd also like to say that I'm only proposing this because I don't have 50 bucks to spare, otherwise I'd just donate for it.
Such a cool project. Seems like a natural for Alamo Drafthouse and would be cool to see on the big screen. And that fake Criterion cover is awesome.
Any chance we'll get a sneak peek of the buttons/shirts/posters soon?
Getting MST3K and/or Rifftrax involved would melt my mind.
Much thanks to Fake Criterions for the mention. This project looks to be amazing.
Can't believe I almost missed this. I followed your website awhile ago and was super excited to see what you were doing but lost track. A thanks to Fake Criterions for mentioning it or I would have been so bummed.
I'd love to interview for my podcast -- www.projection-booth.com Drop me a line if that sounds good. impossiblefunky@gmail.com
RE: First 2k Image
My new wallpaper! Diane Mahree glaring at me as I work. Disturbing! And awesome!
After a theatrical print is made, it would be amazing to try to get it submitted for the Regal Cinemas "Fathom Events" series. They do one night only special events broadcast in HD all over the country.
Also, seeking out Rifftrax to do a Riff as a commentary track for the blu-ray would be amazing.
Keep up the good work!
So glad that your end goal is to film-out and strike new prints. We're true 35mm believers so we hope our pledge helps make that happen!
I think Jesse Logterman is is absolutely right about rifftrax. Since I suspect most of us first saw Manos on MST3K finding a way to incorporate that into the new release would be a huge draw. I expect plenty of people who would buy a blu-ray of Manos alone would do so if it included the MST3K episode, a new rifftrax track or some combination thereof. It might even be possible to transfer the old MST3K onto the new restored version with only a new modifications. This would give it that theatrical release vs director's cut feeling. Really a great idea.
I don't know if you've thought much about the Blu-Ray sleeve yet, but the Criterion Collection mock up from the Something Awful tread is awesome. This one: http://i.imgur.com/6ZZkjl.jpg
Jason- The designers are volunteering their time and I've seen some great mock-ups so far. The poster and shirt will be unveiled in mid-January once everyone's schedule is back to normal. There have been some good ideas pitched for the poster... good enough that I might even put the design to a vote.
Such a great project! Before this ends, will there be a mock-up or idea of what the poster will look like?
Wow. Fully funded in two days. So if the goal is doubled or tripled, can we get Cinematic Titanic and/or Rifftrax on this thing? It looks like you will eventually raise enough to do the restoration documentary at the very least.
This is just from me... if you back this project with the FULL $10,000, I'll send you an ACTUALL BRICK from the Master's House location, in El Paso.
The brick is from THE DRIVEWAY where Torgo walks from the house to Mike's car to the bags.
I got this brick while taking pics for my MANOS locations book.
If you can give the 10K, Ben will contact me and I'll get this VERY RARE collector's piece to you!
Thanks!
