Prepare To Meet Thy God is the debut album from the Canton, Ohio based indie rock/power pop band Husbands & Wives. The album, which will be released on July 14th, 2012, is now available for pre-order.

$5 for a high-quality digital download of the album, redeemable before the album is available anywhere else.

$10 for a high-quality digital download AND a copy of the album on CD.

Our goal since the inception of Prepare To Meet Thy God has been to record and release a professional sounding, studio-quality album entirely on our own. This means that so far the album has been funded and produced by Husbands & Wives with no outside assistance from a record label or private recording studio. We've spared no expenses and made no compromises in ensuring that our final product will reflect the time, work, and passion that we've put into this project. It goes without saying that self-releasing an album can get expensive, and now we're asking our fans to help us add the finishing touches. Recording sessions are underway as this is being written, and we hope to wrap things up by May. Post-production for the album (mastering, pressing CD's and vinyl, packaging, etc.) will begin in June and is one of the last major expenses we will incur before we're able to release the album. The $500 we're hoping to raise with your pre-orders will cover a fraction of that cost.
