About the Project:
Wicked is a thrilling short film inspired by incredible true events. It tells two intersecting stories: Harper, 8, is kidnapped from her house and Samantha, 25, leaves a bar with a potentially dangerous man. In a surprising twist, the two stories intersect leading to a remarkable conclusion.
What we fundraise for:
All the cast and crew are working on this film for free – because they believe in the film so much. We have done all we could to secure as many things as possible for no cost – and have done really well – but unfortunately – some things cost.
The money you pledge will go to feeding our cast and crew. To paying for wardrobe. For securing our locations. For Art Direction. If we receive more than our goal – we will use the excess to help with entrance fees for various festivals.
Thanks to your funding help through Kickstarter, we'll be able to complete this film!

Why we made Wicked:
Last year, I read an article online about a girl who was kidnapped from her house when she was 8 and was left to die in a field. It made me cry and I couldn’t get her story out of my head.
Wicked was inspired by this young lady – and all the other victims of crimes who refuse to be defined by what happened to them and instead choose to stand up and speak out.
Wicked has a cast and crew of professionals who all generously donated their time and efforts to see this story be told. We would love for you to be a part of our dream.
