Sacramento formed, Seattle based Americana/Folk band, Blvd Park is recording their second full length album.
Hey there! Thank you guys soo much for visiting our Kickstarter page. We've been looking forward to getting into the studio for some time now and are very excited to announce that the date has been set! We begin recording with the very talented producer/engineer Gary Mula at the Columbia City Theater in Seattle Sunday, October 2nd 2011.
Our first album "Bell Tower Mansion" was an homage to the 19th & H Sacramento victorian mansion in which each of our eight original band members spent time in rehearsing, paying rent, recording and having lots of fun and crazy house parties. Our next album titled, "The Sound" will be a nod to the beautiful "complex system of interconnected marine waterways and basins" located in and around our new home of Seattle, WA. New home, new band, new sound.
We're offering lots of goodies in exchange for your cashmoneys including music lessons, art done by band members, pre-release album downloads, home cooked meals, signed posters, and just general Blvd Park shwag. We should mention that if we don't reach our pledged goal, we recieve nada! So please do what you can and help us spread the word by passing this on to your family and friends!
