I plan to adapt and direct Bram Stoker's book "Dracula" for stage. The goal is to stay true to the themes of this horror classic.
Bram Stoker's "Dracula" is a masterpiece of Gothic horror that touches on themes of feminism vs. chivalry, faith vs. science and history vs. technological advance. Sadly, I have yet to view a film or stage production that truly captures the tense feeling of Dracua's assault on turn of the century England.
In my adaption of "Dracula," I hope to bring Bram Stoker's iconic villain to life as the unstoppable force that Professor Van Helsing, Mina Harker and their associates must face and defeat.

It rents a theater space. It buys the materials and tools needed to construct a set. It pays for costumes and props. The heftiest price tag is definitely renting the space. I have not yet found a suitable rehearsal location, but I hope it will cost considerably less than the theater rental.
