Hi Ya'll, 

Welcome last minute backers! A celebratory good morning to all of you for helping the Hot Bike! Kickstarter reach its goal!

I was in New Orleans on the 15th (blaming lack of instant wohoo e mail on that). I watched utility bikes cruise the flat streets. I navigated riding a cruiser over pot holes, through narrow streets and around tourists. I heard rumors of folks selling tamales, thai noodles, and other fascinating things off their bicycles. Hot Bike is everywhere! 

I am over joyed that I get to spend the new few months designing and building this bike! I am dreaming of reusing resources folks have thrown away. First step, I am going to do some experimenting with old microwaves and find out how insulating they can be....
