-WHAT IS THE MONEY FOR?-
The Great Regression is a potential ongoing science fiction comic book I've been working on for the past year with hopes of being picked up by publisher!

Mad Max meets Jonah Hex meets the 1988 movie Big. The story is about how the far left can be just as bad as the far right if left unchecked. But at the heart it’s really the tale of Hopalong Pinto. Who grows up too fast and makes a couple wrong decisions he'll have to live with the rest of his life.

So far we have 23 pages complete, but the first issue is 32 pages. I have been self-financing the project thus far paying the Penciler, Colorist, and Letterer. I've hit a wall with funding and am hoping through Kickstarter.com all you amazing people can help make my dream come to life. The money would go towards helping me pay for the Penciler, Colorist and Letter to complete 9 more pages and the self printing of the first issue!

-PLOT SUMMERY-
In Canada a long time from now, Hopalong Pinto is born three months early and fully developed. He decided he was tired of being in his mom's belly and just crawled on out. Hopalong has the fantastic ability to “will” things to happen. Just weeks after his birth he could both walk with ease and talk with a relatively full vocabulary.

Meanwhile; also in Canada, a charismatic young politician named Soulya Kraj has recently been elected Prime Minister. Kraj suggests a radical new bill to save his country. Canada dose need saving it is largely jobless due to advances in technology and is filled with people who have become apathetic pill-popping drones. Kraj's plan, Terra-bomb Canada! Terra-bombing is a process which would allow the Earth to reclaim massive amounts of land ruined by technology and pollution. Once the land is cleansed Kraj plans to form a “New Canada”. Free of modern technology, a return to simpler times. Kraj is able to convince his countrymen to vote for his bill, winning by a land slide due to the large homeless population.

Kraj’s plan is a success, small villages across “New Canada” work together to build and farm their new land. The Pinto family are thrilled. They are able to keep Hopalong’s strange powers under the radar and live a much simpler, happier life. Until news comes of an invasions....
