About this project
Explore the Magic of the Doodle with my hand-drawn creations. My drawings are greatly detailed and original, geared toward teenagers and adults. One is never too old to color and the benefits of doing so are endless! Mental discipline, patience, relaxation, creativity and joy all stem from my designs. My coloring art products produce hours of coloring creation fun.
My drawings have also been used in treatment centers with positive feedback from those struggling with addictions, mental health issues and other similar conditions.
I have already created and printed one Doodle Art coloring book containing 10 original drawings and a Doodle Art Poster (Size 18x24). I put everything I had into this first project so that I would be able print enough books to sell them at a low cost on my website, www.doodle-art-alley.com. My website also offers free coloring pages that are inspired by the doodle but not nearly as detailed as the pages in my Doodle Art Coloring Book.
Many people who have purchased and used my book and poster love them and are anxiously awaiting my next creation.
The money raised will be used to print my next coloring art book and poster. This book and poster will be nature themed, showing different settings and characteristics of nature all hand-drawn in my own Doodle Art Alley style. Any additional money raised will be used to print additional posters and books if possible.

A few years after graduating from BYU, I started teaching elementary school outside of Houston, TX. I started creating detailed drawings for my students to color in and I saw their inner artist emerge. Their attitudes toward art changed dramatically and their confidence in creating their own art work sky rocketed. It was then that I started seeing the potential of my designs.
Currently I live in Logan, UT with my husband and 2 kids so my husband can finish school. I continue to work on my website and designs everyday. I also teach an art class to young children twice a week, introducing and experimenting with fine arts.
