Kickstarter

Hi everyone! Thanks for taking a look at our kickstarter page! Above is a video of us sound checking a jig I wrote while we are on tour down here in southern California. This set of jigs will be on our new album along with three other instrumentals and seven vocal and instrumental pieces.

At the beginning of February we started to record our new album. We have had so much support and encouragement from all of you and have been wanting to make a new album for the last couple of years. That time has finally come and we are having a blast working on it! 

We are nearing the completion of our recording process and now need to get the album mastered and sent into duplication. By backing our project you can help us make this new cd project real! Many of you have expressed interest in pre-ordering our album. By contributing $15 to our project we will mail you an album as soon as it is ready. You will also notice that we have provided other incentives for giving. If we do not make our goal we won't get any of the money and your contribution will not be charged. This also means you won't get your reward.

Since recording our last project in 2008, the younger kids have grown up and developed into fine young musicians and are now contributing more fully to the band. The instrumentation will be primarily acoustic; fiddle, mandolin, guitar, piano and bass, with the addition of some percussion parts. The album will consist of four instrumental pieces - three of which are originals- and seven vocal and instrumental pieces -three of which are also original pieces. We wanted to put together an album that would reflect where our family has been musically the last few years and also represent what is most commonly heard in a live performance.

We are truly grateful for the people God has placed in our lives, with perfect timing, to help us on our musical journey.  We want this cd project and our daily life to honor you, our friends and mentors.  We hope and pray that this new album will reflect our love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, provider of all good things and source of perfect love. He is our life, hope, savior and joy.
