Update #5: Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. But things are great here on Kickstarter!

Posted on August 4, 2010

Wow, it's almost impossible to quote from Hamlet if you're looking to be thankful, gracious or kind. Perhaps someone can prove that incorrect," but break, my heart, for I must hold my tongue".
THANK YOU
THANK YOU
THANK YOU
With nine days to go, we are slowly creeping over nine grand (which is close to $2,200 over our original goal) and WE could not have done it with out you!
Help us make the push to 12K and beyond! (It's way easier to quote from one of the Toy Story movies if you want to thank someone). Tell your friends, family and coworkers, post a link on your facebook page and blog, remind that super rich patron of the arts friend of yours, that's always bugging you to tell him or her what project you think they should donate buckets of money to.
WE got this thanks to you beautiful people!
Many Thanks,

YAY can't wait to see the show!

Update #4: Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. . . .

18 days left and only $220 till we reach our goal!!! WE cannot thank you enough for all the incredible support! Just think, once we hit $7,000 we can rest a little easier and know that anything we make beyond, will magically transform itself into a larger then life puppet, or a feathered headdress, or a tattered gown, or a suspicious looking mask, or spiced tea for the audience, or lighting for the path during a night performance, or a regal stage for a play with in this play, or a . . .

Can I find out what the music is that plays over your promo piece? Thanks, and good luck!

Thank you for asking! The song is: Early In The Mornin’, performed by "22, Hard Hair, Little Red & Tangle Eye", respectfully drawn from the album "Blues From The Big House". This album is part of our research into prison/work songs, which will inspire the music for our performance on The Rock.

Update #3: Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.

Posted on July 19, 2010

With 25 days left to go, we are just under our half way point. THIS IS AMAZING! and WE cannot thank you enough. But, "perseverance, dear my lord, Keeps honor bright" and with that, we can't stop now. Please pass this along and reach out to your community for contribution. If all of us gave ten dollars (many of you have or more!) and got a few friends to give five, we would be well over our goal!

Thanks sweet friends!

These are the most incredible pictures of Alcatraz I've ever seen - and I've lived here for 30 years. Most of them really capture the pain and the haunting qualities of the place that all the calendar shots avoid. I hope your piece can do the same thing. - kenyon

Thanks for your comments on the photos, Kenyon. I've passed this on to the photographer of these shots, Nico Halecky.

Update #1: I can no other answer make, but, thanks, and thanks.
