JOIN WE PLAYERS in MAKING HISTORY...AGAIN!
We Players brings our unique form of interactive theater and site-specific spectacle to Angel Island California State Park, the largest island in the San Francisco bay. In spring 2012 we present an island-wide, epic performance adventure of THE ODYSSEY! This all-day journey will occur throughout the hills and historic buildings, the cement bunkers and natural environs of Angel Island, surrounded by stunning view of the San Francisco Bay.
You will walk many miles, you will encounter monsters, nymphs, gods and even mere mortals. There will be feasts, libations, storms, and beach front property. You will journey to the Kingdom of the Dead, you will climb Mount Olympus and if you are brave, resilient and determined - you will reach your native land at last. May the power of Zeus be with you and may Athena guide you.

How your donation supports WE:
$25 = Print our scripts & buy us books [Help the director create the script and the actors learn their lines! Each $25 donation allows us to buy necessary research materails and print multiple copies of the script. The cast and crew is 30 strong by the way...]
$75 = Rehearsal space for 2 hours [Bless us with space to improvise, experiment and create!]
$150 = Meal subsidy for 1 Player [Keep our bellies full! Our professional actors volunteer their time and talent. Support their tremendous efforts by helping We Players provide delicious local food during rehearsals and performances.]
$300 = Transportation subsidy for 1 Player [Help the actors get to rehearsal! Angel Island is quite a haul. Support our crew's tremendous efforts by helping them get to and from rehearsal.]
$500 = Purchases important promotional materials, like posters and flyers [Help the world see what’s coming to Angel Island, for the first time in history!]
$1000 = 10% of our costume and prop budget. [Help the actors and the island get dressed! WE have an incredible team of designers working on this island-wide production. Help us gather the materials, fabric, tools, paint, and more to make this show as gorgeous as it can be.]
