About this project
My hope is to record and master a dozen songs on the Hang drum to create a solo album. All the songs are played with a positive intention, and the particular intention for each song is reflected in it's title. The music I play is ideal for practices that help calm the mind and open the heart.
The Hang drum is the instrument I best express myself through. It's great to share my music with others through online videos and amateur recordings, but anytime the instrument is bound by any type of recording there is the inescapable lose of quality in the music. The only way to get a chance of capturing the Hang's full range of tones and vibrations is to get it recorded in a professional studio. This is where my supporters come in.
The funds I am requesting will be used to record, edit, and master the music, and then to get the physical album put together, copied, and distributed as necessary to get it to the listeners. I will be providing the music as both a CD and a downloadable online album.
