This is Dash aka Dashi to her loved ones. The eldest of three, she's a fierce and fearless woman of the world…hear her roar!! A current digital journalist and New York city dweller, she speaks her mind and lives free. She spent most of her formative years, glued to the television watching 20/20 with her mother. She is the creator of VenusGenus.com, a site for the everyday phenomenal woman, founder of In.A.Dash.Media, as well as an avid blogger, tumblr-er, tweeter and is open to any other legal and clothed habits that end with 'er.' Dash has worked over 3 years in professional journalism for a network you might have heard of but is currently pursuing her passions.
Since traveling and living in her parent's country,Panama, within months of her birth, Dash has been an active world-explorer and as her mother tells it 'nosey.' She kept her nose in her books and studied Journalism, Business and French at an awesome university called Temple. After a semester abroad in London and some solo travel trips, Dash's passion for travel and global storytelling completely ignited.
She takes her father's "Be True to Yourself" advice everyday and is completely dedicated in touching people through unique storytelling of people and topics that may not have as much attention as "mainstream" issues.
Her hobbies and interests include laughing deeply and often, social issues, reading, eating tacos, the internet, social media, Bikram Yoga and any other intense physical activity that tests the limits of individual sanity, chocolate, spending time with her loved ones, debating which X-Men character's powers is the best, teasing her hair, debating, NYC events, eternally cleaning her apartment, counting carbs, meeting and chatting with new people and purposely ignoring her mother's phone calls just so she can text her right back because she knows it annoys her.
