Two DVD's "ANYTHING BOYS CAN DO" and "THIS IS BERLIN,NOT NEW YORK". "Anything Boys Can Do/ Mark Of The Ninja" is an inspirational look at underground femme rock bands in NYC between 1993 and 1996. This film played more than 50 festivals around the world and won several awards. This DVD comes with a bonus film, "Mark Of The Ninja", a 48 minute documentary covering art of the antagonist movement during 2004. This film was showcased at the New Director Series at the Anthology Film Archives NYC as well as winner of Best Documentary at Evil City Film Fest NYC.

Inspiring look at underground artists as they cross the globe to create new work.

A group of New York City artists travel to Berlin for 10 days, showing art in a gallery, putting up art on the streets, breaking into an abandoned building to create original artwork and making connections with Berlin artists. Film features Arturo Vega, Artistic Director of the Ramones punk rock group, Ted Riederer, an artist featured at PS1, and Nicole Gladsburn,an artist featured in the Village Voice. Arturo Vega said - This film should be shown at art schools or to anyone passionate about art.

Disillusioned with the contemporary art world, a group of East Village artists bands together to form the Antagonist Movement. Under the banner - Crime is Art, Art is Crime - the Antagonists do whatever is necessary to create art. In breaking with the establishment, the Antagonists have created forums and venues through which artists can showcase their talents. Shot over three years, Touching a Van Gogh offers an inside look at young artists struggling to find themselves while challenging others. Touching a Van Gogh is a call to arms for artists everywhere - Crime is Art, Art is Crime.

The Soft Hustle, 1999-2000

The story of a Lower East Side lowlife who makes a bet for $1,000, which he promptly loses. After getting kicked out of the apartment of his girlfriend, he finds himself going home with cheap barflies, robbing East Village stores and pathetically pretending he is gay just to have a place to sleep.

Anything Boys Can Do, 1997; Re-release in DVD, 2009

First place award in the Mixed Messages Festival and a third place award in the Reeling Festival, as well as having been screened in over 50 festivals worldwide.

A documentary film about Lower East Side underground bands, featuring bands such as Tribe 8, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black and Vitapup. This feature-length film zigzags between live performances and interviews,sketching the role of gender within the confines of a supposedly egalitarian alternative music scene.

Amaurosis, 1993

Finalist, New York Film Festival, 1993

A short drama about a lonely woman, Lillian, who is overcome by feelings of guilt and inferiority after acquiring a sexually transmitted disease. The film explores human behavior in, and in reaction to, a situation in which an individual is affected in a devastating fashion, through no fault of her own. Finalist in the New York Film Festival and screened in the Social Outcast Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.

Founder of the Antagonist Movement, Inc.

This is a consortium of artists, writers and musicians based in the East Village of New York City, which promotes art, music and writing and creates a venue for underground artists to reach a wider audience. Recent group shows have included This is Berlin, Not New York, Berlin, Germany, October 2007, and Behold the Antagonist Art Movement, Providence, Rhode Island, May-June 2008.

Director of the Royal Fest, 1997-1999

A festival of films, bands and zines, centered in the heart of the Lower East Side of New York.

Creator and Editor-in Chief, Psycho Moto Zine, 1988-2008

A self-published zine featuring original artwork and articles by diverse individuals. Zine was exhibited during the Alternative Youth Exhibit at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City.

Writer

Co-author of the screenplay, The Stick-Up Artist, which was recognized as one of the top six entrants in the Slamdance Scriptwriting Competition and received a Merit of Excellence award. Author of script, Killing the Messenger, 2009, which is a semi-finalist, 2009, Screenplay Festival. Currently working on two memoirs, one based in Washington, DC and the other based in New York.
