TRUTH Magazine will be America's premier LGBT magazine for people of color, and will end stereotypes of the LGBT community of color.
TRUTH Magazine will be a bi-monthly national publication created and developed - FOR and BY LGBTQ people of color, with a specific focus on the Black diaspora. TRUTH will promote, educate, empower and support gay and lesbian people of color in art and entertainment, health and wellness, politics and social activism, lifestyle, culture, travel, spirituality and current events.
TRUTH will have very specific areas of focus, and the beauty of the magazine being for and by LGBTQ people of color is that TRUTH has the ability to continuously evolve. Besides our bi-monthly printed content, TRUTH will offer current new and information via TRUTHMagonline.com, and in October, we will launch TRUTHMag the app, available for iPad, iPhone, and Android devices.
By including the gay and lesbian communities of color, TRUTH will deliver timely and relevant content in its key areas of focus. There truly is nothing like what we're getting ready to embark on. I've heard the stories, and cries from my community, a community who is tired of being (s)exploited within and outside of the community. You've asked for a positive light, a tangible reach, and articles filled with substance, and a desire to know what's going on within the community besides the parties.... here it is!
