Help a busker become a "One Man Band" and perform for the masses.
What is the Plan?
I plan on busking in area cities and festivals as a One Man Band. I will be making music and videos in costume for the entertainment of others. I need a little support to actually get out there and make the music happen!
What is a One Man Band?
A one man band is someone that plays multiple instruments on the streets. Usually, a one man band has some kind of acoustic percussion "rig" that allows him to play an instrument, sing, and have percussion all at once without accompanying musicians. What Is the RIG?
In my case, the rig is going to be a backpack mounted bass drum, snare drum, and hi-hat cymbal set. Using a set of pulleys and cables, attached to feet and arms, I will, by way of body movement, be able to play the drums while I sing and play guitar.
Why Should You Help?
Street musicians, and especially One Man Bands, are a great source of entertainment. Any way to help support an artist is rewarding in and of itself!!!
