The Alkali Flats are recording a new record, and they need your help. Our vision is to record in a live setting to capture the essence of the band...rowdy, messy, and always a real good time. All money raised will go towards recording, production costs, and a summer tour to promote the new album. Recording sessions are already happening and the band is very excited. Please help us reach our modest goal and claim an excellent reward for yourself in the process.
UPDATE: We have hit our funding goal, but that doesn't mean you can't still donate to the cause. Our friends, fans, and families have been amazing in their show of support for the band. We are truly overwhelmed by the volume and amount of these donations. All of this is very much appreciated. We would, however, like to encourage those people who would still care to donate to go ahead and do so. All of the money collected will be used in the creation of the new album. The band is discussing some ways to spend the excess funds, and one very exciting idea that we have is to release this album on cd AND vinyl! Imagine hearing your favorite mediocre hillbilly band the way they were meant to be heard...spinning around on your record player.
If we continue to get donations there is a great chance that you, our friends, fans, and family, could have a choice of getting your new Alkali Flats album on a 33 1/3 rpm vinyl record. Now that's exciting!
