About this project
Written by Mike Kopera and directed by Steve Kopera, "My Friend Peter" is a 14-minute short film set to shoot in Los Angeles, mid-January 2010.
This film will actually be the brothers' second collaboration. In 2004, Steve wrote and directed the feature film "Solitude," in which Mike played a supporting role.
"My Friend Peter" will be shot by Richard Samuels, an award-winning cinematographer and founder of Green Door Films.
Our fundraising goal is $1500.00. This will help to pay for food for the cast and crew, film equipment, location permits, and Peter, the monkey puppet's extensive diet, grooming, and wardrobe requirements.
Your help and generosity is so very much appreciated! Thanks for supporting indie film-making!!!!!! :-D

I'm an actor/writer/producer in LA. Mostly actor. "My Friend Peter" was my first venture into puppetry and producing my own content, but both proved to be so much fun that I want to do it again and again and again!
I grew up in Troy, Michigan and went to college at Northwestern University, where I studied theatre.
I live in Eagle Rock with my wife, Rachel, and dog, Riley.
