Founded in 2000, they are known for the publishing of pseudo historical and alternate history RPGs based on licensed properties such as Eric Flints 1632 and Luftwaffe 1946. Also their lines include Gaslight Campaign Setting (a Victorian Earth Fantasy setting where the non human races come right of the literature of the period), and the return of their flagship setting - Cityscape: City on the Nexus of the Omniverse. Added to this is the future release of the Double Spiral War RPG using the versatile 12° system and Savage Worlds.
So - we got any stretch rewards that unlock if we hit $600?
I'd be interested in running a promo game at Genghis Con (Denver, Colorado, Feb 16-19) if you have materials ready. We have 37 Savage Worlds games being run over the course of the weekend and a large and active SW community in the Rocky Mountain Savages.
Please add some new benchmarks and maybe a sample of the art (old and new intended artists?) or a sample of the book (will it be SW or 12o?). If it was thought of as a one system book it could become a multiple systems with more funding...
Best!
Yep, that did it. If you want to pledge more so that we can start getting an overflow, I wouldnt mind at all. :-)
congrats! we made it today!
I take full credit. My 15$ donation this morning started the rally :)
kidding..
That doesnt mean we couldnt use some additional backers. More money there is the better the art.

I can only suggest giving some more details about the planned content especially. You have a bit about background but nothing about the book we are actually supporting and are going to get. I think Streets of Bedlam is a great example, as was Technoir if you want to take a look at how they did it. Just give us some more information about what we are actually going to get so we have something to mull over and hopefully this will be enough to get some more people to back it. Right now it is a blind bet.
Im still kind of new at this and learning by trial and error. The book is not yet in layout, but I do have the cover, and a couple of the dramatist persona people written up with stats and picks in a crude pdf. Think any of that would help?
Hello Jonathon,
I backed your Kickstarter simply because I love the work of Battlefield Press, SF and especially Savage Worlds. As far as Kickstarters go you could get a lot more backing if you would put some more information on here. Look at city of Bedlam. he is doing it extraordinarily well. As the book is apparently needed some more teaser Information, excerpts of the book or something like that would probably bring in the backers. I know there are a lot more then 15 people looking for an SF setting or resource book for Savage Worlds. Right now there just is too few information on here to grab peoples attention. I hope you take this as it was meant, in good faith and as an honest opinion and from someone who loves RPGs and wants to see as many successful as possible. I hope you succeed and I look forward to your future releases!
