Founded in 2000, they are known for the publishing of pseudo historical and alternate history RPGs based on licensed properties such as Eric Flints 1632 and Luftwaffe 1946. Also their lines include Gaslight Campaign Setting (a Victorian Earth Fantasy setting where the non human races come right of the literature of the period), and the return of their flagship setting - Cityscape: City on the Nexus of the Omniverse. Added to this is the future release of the Double Spiral War RPG using the versatile 12° system and Savage Worlds.
You are welcome. Its not the final product, but I hope that it will hold you over until we get the final pdf to you. If you spot any problems, feel free to let me know.
Downloaded the file from dropbox - looks super! Thanks for sending link
So I went over to Battlefield Press's website and the only thing that I saw on Eldritch Skies was on the front page and all it took you to was the blurb that is present on the front page of the Kickstarter. Then I went to the BP forums and the most recent forum post was from 2010. So the question is: What IS going on with Eldritch Skies since I have given my money?
While I can understand wanting to direct people to the Battlefield Press website or your own, I think that a real communication tool is lost by not utilizing the update function on Kickstarter. I'm sorry to say that as far as Battlefield Press's releases are concerned, I'm only interested in Eldritch Skies, and since I have invested money into Eldritch Skies, I think it would be good if the announcements also came through Kickstarter.
Will find updates as they are available on johnsnead.chaosbutterfly.net/ and/or www.battlefieldpress.com
Is there a site, blog, or forum we should be following to see what progress is being made on the book and eventually learn of a release date?
i like it keep it up

An independent filmmaker trying to get his first feature done.....check it out!
Its tentatively a hardcover, with full color cover and b/w internal artwork.
Is the book going to be hardcover or softcover? Is it going to be B&W, full color, or a mix?
Cthulu and Lovecraft stuff is like TTRPG Porn. It is no licensing fee, and 142% sexy. Kickstart it!

I see the problem, I fixed that. I was using adventure as "an exciting or very unusual experience," forgetting its definition for our industry. Sorry about that, it was a mistake in my use of language. It is a complete Cinematic Unisystem RPG. It is full compatible with all other Unisystem RPGs published by Eden Studios.
Yes, but first you call it an adventure, then you call it a game. Is it a scenario? Is it system? :) A system including a sample scenario? The distinction is important. :)
I'm not busting your balls here, I want to know more so I can better decide whether or not to back the project. I'll look forward to the sample text.
There is a "What is Lovecraftian SF?" posted. We are in the process of adding additional materials.
Working on putting together a sample text for preview now.
I can understand having a manuscript complete-- but having an idea of the length of the product, what it covers, a basis for the plot more than a lovecraftian-sci-fi adventure would go a long way. A small preview gives us an idea of the adventure's tenor.
When reading the section on it , it specifically says the TEXT ONLY is finished, there is no other material done, hence the fund raiser. I can see if I can cobble together a TOC for your viewing.
If it's done, give us the TOC, a preview, something. Right now, all you've got up is a logo and that's precious little to base a decision on.
