About this project
WHAT WE ARE GOING TO MAKE: We want to make what we are calling Table Banners. They are a mix between table runners and table cloths and they would decorate the FRONT of your buffet. We really feel like the main thing people do when they have a party is decorate their food and drink buffet tables....and that visible table cloth space that hangs down the front of the table is wasted space unless you do something fabulous with it. That's what we are going to do.
HOW MANY: We are going to launch this line of Table Banners with 6 designs for the first run. They will include a smashing design for one of each of these types of parties or tables; Birthday, Baby Shower, Wedding, Food buffet, Drink bar and the Desserts table (which is the prototype you see in our video).
HERE'S WHERE WE ARE AT: We have the designs ready to go. We are going to get our first sample from the manufacturer in 2 weeks (and we'll be sending out a video once we have that in hand). We already have the manufacturer all ready to go and have already forecasted based on our MSRP and estimated wholesale and retail (on our website) orders.
THE PLAN: We have a marketing and sales plan ready to implement and the other part of that is that we are going to work our TUSHIES off!
SIMPLY: We are just two girls with a dream. This is something that we believe in wholeheartedly. Designing children's party goods has been fulfilling as designers as well as our labor of love. At this point we are ready to take our designs to the entire country and do a makeover on parties everywhere. We are so thankful to all of you who consider our project. We will not let you down.

We are going forward with 6 designs. Trust us...it was HARD to decide. You'll see each of the 6 designs released here on Kickstarter over the course of the campaign. In those 6 we have: 1) a birthday party banner 2) a dessert table banner 3) a wedding banner 4) a food buffet banner 5) a bar/drinks table banner and 6) a baby shower banner

Each banner is 80 inches long by 44 inches wide. It is made on a poly blend canvas and will be washable.

Tin Parade is the inspiration of two women with a similar love of great design, fun events and good, old-fashioned attention to detail. Kristen and Ryan met at the mom’s version of a single’s club—the local park. They soon realized they had a lot in common, not least of which being children of about the same age. Besides being devoted moms and avid runners, they both had jobs in creative fields. Kristen was an accomplished advertising art director, where she produced print and television ads for high-profile clients. Ryan is a celebrated wedding and event designer, and owner of Savoir Flair Weddings in Los Angeles. www.savoirflairweddings.com With plenty of birthday parties and baby showers on the horizon, they found themselves commiserating on the lack of beautiful, stylish, cartoon-character-free party décor on the market.
The two created Tin Parade Vintage Party Goods and came out of the gate with a line of vintage inspired darling children’s parties and baby and bridal showers that have received numerous magazine and blogs posts. The press has been great but their artisanal made goods are impossible to make on a large scale. Kristen and Ryan see big things for this little labor of love. They would love to see their newest line of table banners in home goods and department stores across the country. They also decided that in this economy most people were doing simpler parties and were mainly worried about the look and décor of their food buffets and desserts and drinks tables. This is where the new stylish, and of course re-usable line of tables banners comes in. These will be made in bulk and therefore will allow Ryan and Kristen to finally get their designs in the hands of the everyday person and expand their larger demographic.
