Join KOORTWAH as we record a new five-song EP "Second Wind" this summer with Matt Thornley (LCD Soundsystem) at DFA Studios.

Hello friends / fans / family,

KOORTWAH is excited to be going back into the studio this summer to record a five-song EP called Second Wind with Matt Thornley (LCD Soundsystem) at DFA Studios in New York.

It's been a little while since I last recorded new material, and this is gonna be a great collection of new, original tracks, and a Lucinda Williams cover that takes her song in a wonderful new direction. I'm also happy to announce that Woody Moseley has joined the band on drums, and the new tracks will benefit greatly from his participation.

We're looking to raise at least $6000, and really want you to be part of this project. There are lots of great rewards for everyone when we reach our goal (ranging from personally signed CDs, awesome t-shirts, all the way up to visiting the studio while we're recording, and even getting a private concert), but the best part is being personally involved in bringing this project to completion, and knowing that when the CD comes out, you had a hand in the process.
