Well I am not so sure about making my goal by the end of the month, but I am glad to have tried setting up this crowd-sourcing project one time for a low impact run and we will see if I can get this project to go better another way in the Summer months! I appreciate all feedback from my backers and anyone else interested in spreading the weave and the home made philosophy I promote. And of course if you know anyone who wants to send another few bucks my way maybe we CAN get this instruction manual and loom plans and everything else out to you! Well I am not giving up yet, but I wanted to send a note of thanks to all my new funders and those who have gotten in touch about the project so far, and share a few photos of the projects I have been up to around the EU that have kept me from fully promoting this project on-line (I am still of the 20th-century mindset that reality takes precedence over the virtual, even when cash is involved!)
Hey dudes I have been traveling with my little looms all over the Schengen Zone over the last month, from Oslo to Birmingham to Milan and this week Moen, Denmark! In Milan the loom got a little blog press, I think it was because of this dude's rad haircut!! http://www.domusweb.it/en/news/makerlab/ (Shout out to Bram and Simon in Utrecht!)
So I am in town for two days and the sun is streaming into my home office as I catch up on emails, update this site and my etsy loom page too, and make a pretty bad video. Sorry this computer setup is janky guys!
But the big news is you can now get a laser loom for a pledge of just 25 dollars! I'll ask for another 5 for shipping at the end but it's still a super steal! And the etsy price dropped too, if you can't wait until June. http://www.etsy.com/listing/64568430/laser-loom-i-choose-color
Well thanks for the interest and get in touch with more feedback! Primalollie you rock!
I was washing the dishes today thinking about Primalollies appreciation of my politics, and I wondered how clear the political underpinnings of my practice are to the uninitiated. So I wrote this couple of paragraphs... and you can also download the PDF of my thesis if you want to go more in-depth!
